Hunter, to my knowledge, has not been convicted of a felony preventing possession of firearms. He is, however, by his own biography, an admitted user of, and addict to, illicit drugs, which suggests he falsified/lied on many form 4473 he completed if he purchased any firearm from an FFL dealer.
There is no question Hunter was administratively discharged from the Navy for a positive test for cocaine, but to my knowledge, the type of discharge has not been disclosed, and that could have a possible impact on his ability to legally possess a firearm.

I hate conspiracy theories with a passion, but if this were true it would answer why Biden is a puppet to the Chinese and leftists. Anyone in the DOJ or FBI who has knowledge of this and trying to cover it up should be tried as traitors.
