No no, I used your link from the Almanac.

Actually on my desktop I have a few months of sunrise and sunset times for my location, for each month I picked 4 days (about one a week) just to keep track. When I lived in northern OR the days were so short in the winter it freaked me out. Now in SW OR it’s not quite so extreme.

My first or 2nd day in Germany, there was no sunlight until about 8:30 or so. That sun set at around 3:30 p.m. that day. I was horrified. I was 23 years old and becoming quite depressed.

I got there just before New Years Day. I did not see a bit of blue sky until June of that year. I would never ever go back to that God forsaken place.

Ha, I had some great times during my years there, but it was not for me. I took a vacation to the Riviera in one February. It was like visiting Heaven. So absolutely beautiful with blue skies and sweet temperatures. I would live there, except for those cut throat Muzzies.

Give me New England anytime.
