hornworms are “extraordinary” and crickets are “awesome… like nothing you’ve ever tasted.” And they are absolutely like nothing I never will.
Of course, the prog are now well into this eat bugs trendy cool thing of the month.
I suspect it will be like "sagging" their pants, no reason for it, spreads like wildfire and will take far to long to just go away.

I’ve eaten a few different bugs. Some grasshoppers taste like peanuts, and some ants taste like lemon drops (learned these tidbits in survival school). I have had boiled silkworm larvae. Ever been to a tire shop? Eating boiled silkworm larvae tastes like eating the smell of a tire shop. Crickets, fried, and flavored are okay as a snack. But mostly I’ve eaten bugs in the form of the chickens who ate the bugs. I prefer that.

I bet nobody has ever seen her.
I have a relative (actor) in H’wood. Saw them at a family gathering recently. Totally AVOIDED the family. Very telling. Out of touch. Don’t know why they were there, TBH.

Wikipedia sure has his entry cleaned up. He died in Singapore while running from the law after they wanted him for abusing children.

I have read The Personal Narrative of James O. Pattie of Kentucky. Pattie was a frontiersman and trader in the 1820s in what became the southwest United States. He describes encountering a camp of naked primitives, among the poorest and most wretched he had seen, whom he called the "grasshopper people" because of the main staple of their diet.

To combat Nicole and her kind, I encourage everyone to join and support the ASPCB - “American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Bugs”

If Wiki is accurate, she was born in Hawaii to Australian parents and was raised in Sydney.
Like I said, she should go back to Australia permanently.

I ate fried grasshoppers in Oaxaca all the time. They call them “chapulinas” and they are crisp fried and salted or spiced with any number of spices. The tasted like potato chips to me. Street vendors everywhere sell them.
No big deal.

Aspire’s new plant will reportedly produce 9000 metric tons of crickets every year for human and pet consumption. My dog wouldn't eat that crap and my dog tries to eat dead rotting animals that it finds on the side of the road.

To think she lives in my TN county
My Dad's family left Obion County, TN around 1890 and stopped in Arkansas for a few years then ended up in the Puget Sound area to work in the shipyards.

That’s fine. You made a choice to eat them. I won’t be forced.
