A SHTF safe buy???
I have the 10 year old in my bar right now. It’s a perfectly good bourbon, but I would never pay $100 for it. Pretty sure I paid less than $50.
I have an unopened bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon that I bought in college in the early 1980s, stuck in a box when I graduated, and came across in a closet in my mother’s house after she died ten years ago. I have it on a bookcase in my office.
I am pretty sure that 40-year-old Wild Turkey bourbon still tastes like crap.
“Tasting notes sound enticing……charred marshmallow, burnt brown sugar….. on the palate.”
I don’t like bourbon.
Should I mix it with Coke or Pepsi?
Had this earlier this year.
It was good but, not collector class...
Three Rules of Whisky 1) Don’t let anyone tell you how to drink your whisky. 2) Don’t tell anyone else how to drink their whisky. 3) Don’t pay more than $50 for a bottle of whisky. Of course with Bidenflation the $50 limit may go to $75. Being a native of Tennessee I have a fondness for a Tennessee whisky not in a square bottle although Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select is a damn fine whisky.
