I have a soft spot for this song because it takes me back to my junior and senior years of high school. Granted, this was not my style of music — I was into the punk/alt stuff that was coming out. Lots of industrial, techno, dark wave/goth. I get it — not everyone’s taste.
As for Take on Me — I loved the video for Take on Me. Their other tunes, I thought, were better. Like Train of Thought and The Sun only Shines on TV. Again, personal taste, whatever.
I never knew they hated each other that much. Funny.
A-ha is a guilty pleasure of mine. I have most of their albums in a playlist and every now and then I'll go to it. It always yields up some surprisingly good stuff.
