I knew you were very busy - hope you had a great holiday weekend! Back to ‘regular’ old summer until Labor Day. :-)
Trying to get 3 significant garden projects done (heat & humidity are making it hard to work outside) so I can get going on finishing my county fair project - deadline is July 30. It is two strips of hairpin lace woven together with a crochet border on each side. I put the project aside in 2019 - going to take a while to figure out exactly where I was (looks like most of the border on the 2nd side needs doing) & how to do the “woven” crochet stitch again. At least I can work on it in AC, unlike the garden work!
Thanks for the reminder to get busy on my Fair Stuff! I have until the end of August, but that’s going to come really, REALLY quick now that the ball is rolling!
I have two more wide rows of various colors on my crocheted afghan ‘Four Seasons in the Driftless’ and I’m also doing photography and canning, so I need to read the fair manual so I do those new entries up right.
Beau took an AWESOME shot of some white birch trees against a gorgeous blue sky a few years back when he was elk hunting in CO, and I am going to ‘secretly’ enter that one for him this season. ;)
