Somehow, I managed to work while my 2nd Amendment rights were being stripped away when I lived in NJ. Screw this guy, you work whether you’re happy or sad, otherwise don’t expect someone else to support you for doing nothing. Bereavement policies are for when an actual person in your life dies, not when you can’t hack the fact that 6 Supreme Court Justices disagree with your worldview.

So, not only did he not do his job, he misused company assets. If it had just been skipping out on work, he probably just would have been written up or something. That’s the thing that really got him fired.
