Maybe Pres. Biden could arrange for Brittaney Griner’s wife to obtain a visa to Russia. Then the two lovers can spend time together away from the country they hate. This sounds like the best outcome for everyone.
Yes, I have no doubt that Trump would have gotten her back by now, just like he got those UCLA shoplifters back from China. All the more so because as president, he would not have provoked Putin into a war!

About 30 minutes after they got off the boat, they realized they made a HUGE mistake. Most went to the US embassy to ask if they could come back. The US embassy told them to pound sand.
Most of those Americans wound up executed or in Siberian exile.
