which is why we experience aphelion and perihelion. So do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you see how it affects you.

And go to the ER if it lasts more than four hours.

We must blow up the Sun prior to that day!

You may experience dizziness, nausea, fainting, vomiting, confusion, vivid dreams, hallucinations or a strong desire to vote for Hillary Clinton.
See your doctor if any of these symptoms persist. 😁😜

...and be sure to tell your doctor if you may have been to areas where certain types of fungal infections are common.
That one really gets me. Where is this place? What fungus is it? How prevalent does it have to be in that area for it to be common?

Well gee, if the Earth is closer to the sun in January then in July, why isn’t it warmer in January?
I just can’t figure this out...
To: Signalman
It’s the tilt of the earth’s axis. The northern hemisphere is tipped toward the sun I’m in June, so it’s warmer.
In December the Southern Hemisphere is tipped toward the sun. So it’s warmer for them.

"...Out of all the planets in the solar system, Venus has the most circular orbit. ..." There's no such thing as "most circular." Circular is an absolute, like "perfect;" either it is or it isn't. And there are no circular orbits. The orbits of even the most carefully managed man-made satellites still experience measurable eccentricity. Venus' might be the most nearly circular but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Furthest from the sun, but within striking distance of Uranus.

Thanks BenLurkin. The upshot is, summers in the northern hemisphere are not as hot as summers in the southern hemisphere, sort of -- thanks to their colder winters (the Earth is closest to the Sun in January, so, we also have warmer winters) and larger percentage of oceans (which moderates temps), the Earth's average temps are cooler south of the Equator than north of it.

Earth's orbit is not a perfect circle which is why we experience aphelion and perihelion.
