I gained so much more respect for him after reading ‘My Grandfather’s Son’. The man has lived it so the detractors need to STFU! Happy 4th to Judge Thomas and every other America loving citizens who still believe in the idea of the U.S. đ§¨đ

The âdomestic Insurrectionsâ refer to the British recruitment of slaves into an army that would put down the colonialsâ rebellion and guarantee their own emancipation. The implication of the Declarationâs text is that liberated slaves would fight like âmerciless Indian Savagesâ who practiced a brutal equality of the warfare of âundistinguished Destruction.â Not even close.
It meant exactly what it said.
That the British were encouraging the Indian Tribes to attack settlers even before the Declaration of Independence.
Even had a bounty for scalps.
They did not want people to settle beyond the reach of the British government.
Where the heck do schools come up with this kind of stuff?

Thanks for identifying and posting some thought from this article.
What I really appreciate is that it hints of the background of active face-to-face debative presentation of problems that exist and the power of researched reasoning that can change one's mindset on a panoply of the features of a human culture.
Your labors to keep FR alive and deeply interesting are greatly appreciated.

It’s getting very dark for the sixties socialists and Clarence Thomas is one of the leaders for it.
