Are you shitting me? I don’t know if Ric Astley was on your Walkman, but as a teen that enjoyed getting his “horn scraped”, and music with a heavier edge to it, Motley Crue (and many other bands) took care of business, and I still enjoy listening to them today.
Glad the basis of my musical taste was formed prior to 80s bands like Motley Crue.
