Biden continues to blame high gas prices on Russian President Putin, but as of today no plans or solutions are in place by White House officials.
This past week US President Joe Biden said Americans will have to stomach high gas prices “as long as it takes”. He spoke at a NATO summit in Madrid.
This is a frikken clown show.
The perfect picture of the authoritarian voice who, like the emperor with no clothes on, is not being told how foolishly stupid he sounds. My understanding is that fuel station owners earn about 2 cents on each gallon of fuel that they sell.
Will no one send this inadequate 'leader' back to his basement in Delaware and stop all the damage that he is causing?

The gas station prices are most often controlled by the company the gas station represents (Mobil, Citgo, Speedway, etc) and by those distributors. Prices can also fluctuate because of the region. For example I can pay 10-20 cents less by driving down to central Southern MA (Southbridge area in MA) and getting gas there then here in central MA. NH is also cheaper. This is largely based on refining capacity but there are other factors, mostly the distributors in that area.
It’s very complicated. Also when the price of oil goes up, the distributors and thus the station’s prices go up quickly. When it all goes down there can be up to an 8 week lag time. THAT needs to change.
And if you really want to cure the problem? Get oil out of the commodities market. Oil is a matter of national security. Period!
