Count me in as someone who thinks makeup seldom helps a woman’s looks. And I observe that those wearing it after age 45 or 50 most often get unintended results that make them look worse or downright clownish. I’ve never worn any, or even had the desire to experiment in my younger years. No one has ever objected. My husband said when we were dating that he would never even have been interested in me if I’d worn makeup.
