I agree. George Washington has always deserved a far better memorial than that thing. It’s a slap in the face of our nation’s first President and founding father (even though I got to climb up the dildo’s stairs and see the view when I was 9, LOL).

I walked to the top because back then they charged a Dime to ride the elevator up. The ride down was free. Ten cents was meaningful money to a kid back in those days. That was in July 1968 just about the time of the ‘chicago democrat party convention.’
