Anyone else wondering how the demolition project got arranged so quickly?
I mean, it’s County land and that type of thing isn’t just a “Bubba, run out and tear that thing down.”
Where’s the pre-planning GANT chart?
I’d expect an orange cyclone-fence put up for safety.
Seems a bit...prearranged.
Like the county was ready for it?
Maybe they had already wasted the county’s road repair budget and the boys needed some hours. Maybe the ‘boys’ knew there would be a job to do.
There is speculation that there is a capsule of some sort under the thing. Anons were saying that they were moving quick to try to keep it secret. But, unfortunately, no sauce.
Maybe the county seized the moment, the opportunity to get rid of it.
"It's dangerous! Tear it down now!" (before anybody tries to stop us)
And being a relatively rural area of GA, the orange fencing and all that just didn't happen. Redneck OSHA rules apply. :)
