I usually avoid these things but taking one scripture to try to prove that God doesn’t speak thru modern day prophets is not the truth, many other New Testmament passages display the importance of the office of prophet in the Church of Jesus Christ.
That is the stupidest statement on religion I’ve ever heard.
So scripture isn’t authoritative in it own voice?
