I doubt this is a widespread phenomenon yet. But I did know an avid gardener some years ago who got an eye infection from working with garden soil and it precipitated his death (he was old).
Yes, soil-borne illnesses DO happen, but they’re so rare as to be non-starters.
This weeks ‘theme’ for the Garden Thread is, ‘Our Founding Gardeners.’ many of which were farmers in one way or another.
Those wise men knew that self-sufficiency (and a well regulated militia!) were cornerstones to FREEDOM!
