A 17-year-old Colorado Springs girl whose body was found inside the Walgreens store where she worked had expressed concerns about a 28-year-old coworker who made her uncomfortable because he had a crush on her, according to a police affidavit used to secure the man's arrest in connection with her death.
Johnson was being held without bond in El Paso County jail on suspicion of first-degree murder. He made his first court appearance Tuesday.
The document states that Whitelaw was told she would have to work with Johnson and added that a coworker told investigators Johnson "appeared to be acting jealous" when Whitelaw's boyfriend started work at the Walgreens three months ago.

Walgreens At the corner of Jealousy and Murder! The manager have to take a blame in this since the manager knew about him trying to get her. If an employee told me that they felt uncomfortable with a coworker, I wouldn’t schedule them to work together.

Looks like he has some scratches on his face.
I hope someone kills him slowly in prison.
He can rot in hell for eternity.

On March 23, 2020, Colorado became the 22nd U.S. state to abolish the death penalty, as Governor Jared POS Polis (see below) signed legislation repealing the state’s capital punishment statute and commuted the sentences of the state’s three death-row prisoners to life without possibility of parole.
The state was the tenth to legislatively or judicially abolish capital punishment in the past fifteen years.

A sad reminder that sometimes people have to take action on their own, if a business or school won’t help. She shouldn’t have worked the same shift with him, and her family shouldn’t have let her.
I don’t mean to blame the victim, the guilt is all on the killer, just to say that “the gift of fear” is a gift, and should be heeded.
