America’s formidable military arsenal became even more so this week, as Raytheon Technologies revealed a brand-new rent-seeking missile.

The rent-seeking missile represents a revolutionary breakthrough in stealth technology, capable of blowing up the budget of an entire country before its taxpayers even notice something is wrong.

Besides the direct cost per missile, each rent-seeker will also automatically contribute an additional $5 million in aid to Ukraine and $10,000 to the bank account of each retired U.S. general currently working as a consultant.

The not so funny part about this is that unlike some country in the Middle East, these types of games can wind up killing a lot of Americans for something in which there is no national interest.
National interest does not equal money laundering opportunities for politicians, in case that has to be pointed out.

Not so funny because it’s too close to the truth. Everyone who wanted to help Ukraine with our tax dollars can go fock yourselves. You still have not identified any national interests in Ukraine. Pretty much what happened with Afghanistan: it went from a just war to a rent-seek-a-rama for the Defense Department and associated defense contractors. It was a horrible way to treat the great people who fought over there for us.
