Scuba divers have been dying in those springs since at least the 1950s.

The water is shockingly clear, and quite chilly for Florida.

Even experienced cave divers with guide ropes get killed down there.

Does not make sense, but it happens a lot.

Yes, I have lived in the Panhandle for 41 years and every few years there are dead divers in these beautiful but deadly underwater caves................
