No more primaries until July 19, when Maryland votes.
There's a North Carolina runoff on July 26th
Then we're into August, when a number of big races occur (Alaska special, Murkowski primary, Cheney primary, etc.)
Aug 2nd for us in Missouri and as of yet, I don’t think Trump has made an endorsement for Blunt’s replacement. It’s a tough one with four decent repub candidates. Schmidt, Greitens, Hartze and Long. Will likely be one of the Erics and Greitens has been polling highest but Schmidt has been putting himself in the spotlight in a good way fighting the Biden admin and immediately signing off on the abortion ban/restriction trigger law.
Currently, counting last night, President Trump is batting .935 for the election season.
Ty Cobb only batted .366
Well, here in the People’s Republic, we’re ready.
Comparing apples and… peaches. Trump’s impressive current season vs. Cobb’s career numbers. Would like Trump to add many more good seasons to his total! Cobb’s best years were .420 (7th best ever) and .410. Both were seriously slandered by the press. May Trump’s reputation recover faster than Cobb’s! To give Cobb due credit he faced pitchers who knew more than one pitch, several of whom were Hall of Fame caliber. Trump, a pretty good pitcher himself in his youth, who’d probably enjoy Cobb’s style of play, has only faced Hall of Shame level pitching. And although there was no big league franchise there back then I suspect native son Cobb had better success in Georgia than Trump.
