It seems to me women who have unintended pregnancies are to clueless or stupid to prevent getting pregnant and are the ones guilty of infanticide

I took it to mean viability shouldn’t be the standard. But maybe I’m wrong I was once.
Saw this U.K. stat earlier today: in the 10 years before abortion was legalized there, a grand total of 11 women died in “back alley” procedures. I would venture a guess that far more die at the hands of “diversity” every decade.
Moral concerns will remain, not matter what the law agrees to.
The big moral concern is when the choice to abort is because carrying the baby is something of “inconvience” due to (a) out of wedlock, (b) will interfere with career plans/abilities, or (c) financial hardship, then where was the moral sense of responsbiity that failed to conduct life so as to prevent the preganncy. Why is it the baby’s fault for a preventable failure by the mother and her sexual partner.

When the baby moves it's alive... that's the quickening. No abortion after that point. About 16 weeks.

If only we knew what caused pregnancy, maybe we could prevent unwanted pregnancies from happening. I guess I'm just a dreamer that such a thing could ever happen.
My point is I don’t see “viability” as anything more than a distraction. As if there is some line at which a life is life.
