Quickening is when a pregnant person starts to feel their baby's movement in their uterus (womb). It feels like flutters, bubbles or tiny pulses. Quickening happens around 16 to 20 weeks in pregnancy.

When the baby moves it's alive... that's the quickening. No abortion after that point. About 16 weeks.

Quickening is not when the baby starts to move; it’s when the baby is big enough that the mother can feel his or her movements. The baby begins to move long before that.
