In a special election earlier this month, for the first time in 150 years a Republican is representing a congressional district in the Rio Grande Valley. Her name is Mayra Flores. She's also the first member of Congress who was born in Mexico. And she's a REAL conservative.
Even blacks could be viewed as "natural born Republicans" because they're socially conservative. In a 2008 California poll regarding Proposition 8, a state constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage, blacks were more likely than whites to support the ban.
