Justified was a great series, but I always thought Rappaport was a terrible actor in his role, his so-called Kentucky “dialect” was awful, very amateurish. He’s a D-lister, a nobody, looking for attention. What a hateful, evil fool.

Men lie. Sometimes about their entire past and entire relationship for many years. Good women think they found a good man and date for years but he is actually a conman playing the same game with a half dozen other women. Only realizing it once they are pregnant and they guy disappears if they don’t abort. Sometimes they’ll even get married with a false identity and have several secret families.
Many people of both sexes have a hard time thinking straight when actually courted by an attractive person. You’ll find countless stories of people risking their lives, career and even national security for sex with someone more attactive. Like these ugly prison women who became attracted to and released known murders. Sex overrides all rational thought and consequences in many people.
Nobody is perfect and even when used perfectly NO birth control method works 100% in all people. Not even vasectomy or tube tying.
Laws and even publically burning people at the stake never prevented people from having outlawed sex. The biological imperative for many people is stronger than any law or punishment in this lifetime.
I’m against abortion and wish people were not this way but due to human nature I don’t think anything will change and outlawing abortion won’t have a positive overall effect. Similar to when the prohibition of alcohol was intended to make people better but actually created far more destruction and violence around it.

In fact, I had a run in with this Rappaport character once. He was walking his small dog in our neighborhood, (Larchmont) the dog did something he didn’t like and he kicked the dog not once, but twice. I got in his shit about that,one thing led to another and he slinked off mumbling before he got bear sprayed and pile driven into the sidewalk
