Truth is the absolute defense against defamation, at least in the US. Fox has the right to demand full disclousure from Dominion on the findings of Dr. Halderman showing that Dominion knew their voting machines did not meet election law requirements for security. They also should also demand a complete independent forensic report on the adjudication rates for every Dominion machine that was used in 2020. Evidence that Fox had at the time showed the rates exceeded legal limits in several states and therefore the election results could have been subject to manipulation.
I suspect the real settlement will be done out of court because it would save Fox more money in the long run. This is just how lawfare or “slap” suits work.

and yes, there’s proof. 9+ trillion geotagged cellphone data points plus 4m+ minutes of surveillance video of the drop boxes. witness testimony explained the payments made ($10-40 per ballot) and methods used (taking pics w/ cell phone as proof of delivery to get paid)
For me this is a win/win. Either FoxNews (along with the loathsome Sean Hannity) goes down the toilet or Dominion goes bankrupt. Either way, the Pillow guy is smiling!
It’s a shame the 2020 election was so close. Next time we need the conservative candidate (my choice is Trump) to win by a fraud-proof margin.
