I was just reading this on NPR, an “OMG THERE’S NO TESTING!!! OMG! OMG!”
https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2022/06/25/1107416457/monkeypox-outbreak-in-us
Monkeypox outbreak in U.S. is bigger than the CDC reports. Testing is ‘abysmal’
(from the article) “The CDC would not divulge to NPR how many tests have been performed across the country, nor will the agency say where community transmission is likely occurring in the U.S. (NPR emailed the agency multiple times about these questions but the press person declined to comment or provide an interview.)”
DO YOUR JOB, CDC!! START TESTING EVERYBODY!!! (for this disease that seems, at this point, confined to gay men)
Can you tell what’s going to happen here? “Popular demand” is going to make this the next pandemic.
It’s conceivable that, since milopox causes you to have pus-filled sores that then break, leaving a hideous scab, it could become more transmissible than it already is. And if it can, it probably will.
Hm, I have a fever, muscle aches, and my anus hurts. Time to go to the bar!! I’m sure I’ll feel better after socializing with a huge crowd of other gay men. l
No lesions on the palms of the hands and I suspect it to be other than monkeypox: whether from reawakened viruses and other ailments from the weakening of the immune system from the Covid jabs or otherwise.
