No way Some Girls could be released today. The title song alone would get the Stones cancelled. When the Whip Comes Down would result in a gay uprising. Far Away Eyes would trigger BLM riots.

Gotta disagree. “We Built This City” was hated by leftists because it was bowdlerized and horribly overplayed. It should be hated by conservatives because of its idiotic notion that somehow the Summer of Love and subsequent decade of hate-filled Leftist rage somehow improved what had been America’s prettiest city and was well on its way to becoming an unliveable hellhole. If you hate it, ignore the words, and it becomes just a fantastically overplayed, typical, jingle-quality, mediocre pop-rock song.

But Miss You assaults your ears with the same 7 falsetto-sung notes 296 times. If it comes on the radio while you are shopping, you will be tormented with no escape. No comparison.
