Frontline Ukrainian soldiers fighting Russians in Donetsk 'WILL WIN WAR' 1,097,632 views Jun 15, 2022 Ukrainian soldiers fighting Russian troops on the frontline in Donetsk region said on Tuesday (June 14) they were optimistic about winning the war.
Ukrainian military hardware drove through the town of Niu-York, which lies some 50 kilometres to the north from the separatists stronghold of Donetsk in eastern Donetsk region, where heavy fighting between Ukrainian and Russian troops is ongoing.
Reuters witnesses said the town was under shelling on Tuesday.
Speaking from the trenches in Niu-York, 28-year-old Ukrainian soldier nicknamed "Pashtet" said he doesn't understand Russian President Vladimir Putin's intentions with Ukraine.
"He has his own big and rich country, just put things in order and you can live peacefully. There's a mess in his country and he goes `let me invade Ukraine and make a mess there`. This is what I think. We will prevail anyway. The victory will be ours," he said.
Serviceman Mykola, aged 42, thinks the war "will not lead to anything good."
One of Putin's stated objectives is forcing Kyiv to cede the full territory of two provinces, Luhansk and Donetsk, collectively known as the Donbas.
Bigger battles could lie ahead for the wider Ukrainian-held pocket of the Donbas, nearly all on the opposite bank of the river which Russian forces have found difficult to cross.

Putin and Zelensky have got to stop looking for a way to win their war — and focus on finding a way to end it.
Niu-York, Niu-York, a helluva town.
Khirkov is up, but Donbas is down.
And I'm here sitting in a hole in the ground
Putin: I want 33% of your country but I’ll settle for 25%. Let’s negotiate.
In Donetsk fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. It's WONDERFUL to die safeguarding the Cayman bank accounts and the third Miami home of our glorious high-heeled Leader, who is like unto the Second Coming of Winston Churchill and The Savior combined.
Sure thing, Sport
Your ‘situation’ is already pretty much out of the news cycle.
Things like ridiculous gas prices, inflation, wide spread violence here and an imbecile for a President, has a way of doing that.
They’re on their own.
And now we have the head of USAID, an arm of the State Dept, filled with liberal do-gooders that love giving away taxpayer money, in exchange for an envelope or two under the table, wanting more money for Ukraine.
A just resolution would be a return to the situation prior to the 2014 coup d’etat. Russia leaves Crimea and the so-called “Donbas” and the democratically elected government in Kiev is returned to power.
After six years though, a just resolution is impossible. All that’s left is for Putin and Zelensky to stop murdering their own soldiers. Even if the resolution is not “just.”
Niu-York, or New York, was founded in the nineteenth century by a man whose wife was from the original New York. It later became a German settlement, but at the start of WWII, Stalin deported the Germans to Kazakhstan and renamed the town Novohorodske--I believe that means "New City" in Ukrainian. Following Ukraine's independence the name was changed back.
No, they won’t.
Nice ripoff...
Remember PUS-tin thinks he is Peter the Great
“Amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, Pus-tin compares himself to conquering monarch Peter the Great. He said that no iron curtain will close off Russia.”

With the neocons, the crop is always the same.
And so-called "Christians" chant The War Prayer, as always...
USAID = CIA
It has always been thus.
Sounds like Pus-tins Ode to War... who in the Kremlin dares to defy him!
Twain was amazing. There was even a time in this country when he was highly regarded.
You really need to crack a book sometime...
