Who encrypts the the USB drives and do you have access to the program which is supposed protected by the encryption? Could a switch program of aq percentage be included int he program which is encryption protected? Can you be certain of the non-invasive USB program? Is there a paper balolot generated by the choices the voter makes?

At the beginning of the day before the polls open, I print the "zero-tape" on the DS-200 to show that no votes have been cast.
When a voter walks in and is validated as a registered voter, they are given a blank paper ballot.
The voter then goes to the Expressvote machine and makes their choices.
The Expressvote then prints their choices in English and "barcode" form that is machine readable.
The voter then goes to the DS-200 and inserts their ballot which tabulates their choices and keeps a running count.

As a Judge, I have the ability to monitor the results as the day progresses.
I have also verified the accuracy MANY times during the years I have been an Election Judge.

The machines in use utilize a Linux operating system.
The paper ballots are scanned in the top of the machine then saves them in the bin underneath, which is locked.
At the end of the day I close the polls at which time the results are printed twice and the USB drives save the results and are encrypted by the DS-200.
Chain of custody forms and locks are used with the drives and paper results.
I HAND CARRY THESE TO THE CENTRAL COUNTING CENTER.

My "day job" is IT, and have been in the IT biz for 40 years.
I do not have access to the source code so I cannot verify that there isn't any funny business in the program.
I have worked with these for 5 years and do not have any evidence of any vote-switching, or any other fraudulent results.
