Thailand legalised cultivating and consuming cannabis this month, reversing a hard-line approach of long prison sentences or even the death penalty for drug offences.

Gah, Thai Stick
Thai stick ping. Best weed back in the day for a while.
Thailand?
A cannabis curry—use some low thc weed and high powered chilies and I might give it a try. The issue with weed is that it is too powerful. I remember the dime lid back in the day and it did the trick....sorta like a six pack of beer. Who needs to be couch-locked after eating curry?
If the new laws work of Thailand, then more ;power to them. I would hope that the new laws have a sunset provision so as to revist the experiment and decide if it worked or not.
They also allow same sex marriage now - they’re following the twisted path of our left.

Thailand is near my top as a possible retirement country, and this change in the law makes it even better. Just waiting to see what they do with covid mandates/restrictions in the future before I consider venturing over there.
For years, small bags of chopped ganja have been suspended from the edges of big witayu/ noodle vats. I used to enjoy one such duck noodle soup stand, where the broth was made with ‘the punch’, nearby my apartment off Sukhumvit. Delicious! Have one bowl, have another. Nap time
Start learning to speak Thai , now.
It’s fun , you can do it , they appreciate it.
If I settle on Taiwan I will definitely make the effort to try and learn at least some. I was considering the Philippines primary because they speak English, but the infrastructure, food, ect is better in Thailand for a similar cost of living. Now that Thailand has legal weed, that tips the scale quite a bit in Thailand’s favor.
