Was thinking the same thing. However, I'm a little concerned about this rapid growth.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (Lew Alcindor back then) was 6ft 8in at age 14. He ended up 7ft 2in. Barron’s height is unusual but not abnormal or dangerous. If he wanted to pursue basketball he might do well, but it takes other qualities besides height to be successful.

No, he doesn't have the other traits associated with the disease. Could be a thyroid issue, but my guess is that it's really just genes. Melanie is just shy of 6ft and Trump is 6-3, so they're bound to have a tall kid. Maybe Melanie had an ancestor who was really tall.
