The chief and officers on scene deserve life in prison.
They are inhumane.
Police + gun free zone = total safety
There’s no reason for a citizen to carry a gun…
Fire them all. Run them out on a rail tarred and feather. Deny them water, food and shelter for a distance of 500 miles in every direction. Burn down their homes and salt the earth they stood on.
Every cop there should commit suicide.
The on-scene commander, Pete Arrendondo, said he left his police radio behind because he thought that carrying it would slow him down. That is, of course, an outrageous lie. Yet this piece of garbage still has his job, and he still collects his pay.

Fire them all and never let them be so much as a night watchman at a cemetery ever again.
Who ordered the Cops to stand down? That is the question..and it must be answered, NOW.
They should all have been immediately fired and charged with professional misconduct at the very least.

It almost sounds like they were doing it this way on orders from higher up. The off-duty border patrol agent and father of one of the students blunted their impact at least somewhat.
This is why civilians need to be armed.
I am going to go so far as to say the police chief was in on the entire narrative. His stand down orders were part of the plan to make this shooting incident have great impact. Or at least he was following orders from somewhere else.
He should be charged with some kind of homicide charge for each and every dead child. The rest of the police were following orders, but that does not excuse them in my mind.

The famous “Fight or Flight” instincts that almost all professions rescue workers or first responders ignore, the first cops on the scene at that door let Flight take them over.

What a painful world they must live in now.
Some of the LEOs were evacuating the rest of the school, you know, saving lives but every single officer who waited outside that classroom for “orders” to go in should be fired and prosecuted. They had just had active shooter training two months before. And it just makes sense to storm that room and blow the perp into a million pieces. I guarandamntee you that if my kid had been in there, they couldn’t have kept me out. A MOTHER ran in and got her two out. They are worse than cowards.
The Columbine cowards set the first example.
They keep saying that the officers withdrew after taking fire. How did the demon fire through a door and it still remain a barrier?
