Wow, Channel 14’s crack newsreaders will disgorge whatever is on the teleprompter.
So, Putin is only to blame for higher gas prices? Hmmm ...

Fuel costs are expected to continue to rise in July, driven largely because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Welcome to California-level politics.
Highest gas taxes in the nation. Voters voting to KEEP high gas taxes when they had the chance to kill the latest increase.
And worst, of all, an idiot voting population that bitches and moans about the price of gas - yet keeps voting in, overwhelmingly, the same morons that keep steadily raising gas (and every other) tax possible.

Indiana has the second highest diesel tax in the country, all lead by our RINO Governor.

Since my two adult boys live in Evansville, IN., they usually cross the Ohio river bridge to come to KY to buy gas.
Yesterday gas here in KY ranged anywhere from $4.35 to $4.49 per gallon. Gotta go in town in a few minutes and see what it sells for (and fill up).
On a side note, gas is around $0.50 cents a gallon higher in IN than here in KY.

...because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Yeah, let's ignore the 50% increase in distillate fuel prices before Russian invaded Ukraine. And thinking people know that none of the following play a continuing part in rising fuel prices:
1) Killing the XL Pipeline by EO hours after he took office
2) Severe restrictions on Federal land and offshore leases available for drilling
3) Slow-walking permits for exploration and distribution of oil to refineries
Joe, you are responsible for increased fuel prices so quit trying to spin the truth, you twit.

F’n liars. High gas prices are because of those pusbags in DC. US gets very little gas or oil from Russia.
They fail to mention here that that POS fake prez of ours wanted to go begging MBS for more production and before doing that he insulted MBS who then told joetard to go soak his head.

Indiana is one of the few states that fixes its gas tax collection as a percentage of the fuel price instead of a fixed tax. As a result, the higher the price of gas, the higher the tax goes. The State benefits from inflation.
