I’m calling BS on this woman’s claim that she was on “birth control.” If she was on the pill, there would be no way of this happening.
If you really do not want a baby, the woman should use birth control and the man should use a condom.
But many people do not use either and claim they did after the fact to save the embarrassment of losing self control and being stupid.
You're right.
And even IF she didn't intend to get pregnant... just what percentage of women who seek abortions are/have been put in that situation?
I am certain that the highest demand for abortion is from women who are careless and themselves, must take responsibility for their lives.
We're living in the 21st century and have long ago made the correlation between intercourse and reproduction. We have all figured out how NOT to get pregnant. I mean, follow the science!!
That’s not true. Sometimes even oral contraceptives fail. Being on antibiotics can cause oral contraceptives to be less effective is one example. What I notice is that there is no mention of the person who got her pregnant. I’d write “boyfriend” but it could have just been a casual hookup.
In any case her choice to have sex knowing the normal consequence to sex is pregnancy is no excuse for aborting an innocent life.
It can happen.
Illness and antibiotics interfere with the pill's effectiveness, and if someone is not diligent in taking the pill every day, that will cause it to not be so effective.
If she had stayed out of the sack, then she wouldn't have gotten pregnant.
