That’s not true. Sometimes even oral contraceptives fail. Being on antibiotics can cause oral contraceptives to be less effective is one example. What I notice is that there is no mention of the person who got her pregnant. I’d write “boyfriend” but it could have just been a casual hookup.

In any case her choice to have sex knowing the normal consequence to sex is pregnancy is no excuse for aborting an innocent life.

I will amend my statement: It is extremely unlikely that a woman who regularly takes the pill can get pregnant.
