The purpose of Interim National Security Strategic Guidance is to articulate an Administration’s national security priorities.
president Biden’s Interim National Security Strategic Guidance March 2021 is at the link. It is a shining example of doublespeak and gibberish. AND, its purpose is to be used by all Departments as their guiding principles in all aspects of their responsibilities. It is full of flowery statements and sweeping generalities. There is no clear definition of the objectives, no procedure described for the achievement of the vague objectives, and no clear vision of the end state. There is no obvious synchronization of the Departments in the achievement of the priorities. However, there are some frightening noteworthy aspects.
