Even the models you have now may have new Linux software available as of recent. A dig through the manufacturers support may find these for you. :)

For the average new Linux user not familiar with Linux Mint is the best. I have tried them all and stick with Mint myself as the easiest and most stable to use.

Thanks, I’ll remember that. I haven’t even chosen a machine yet, but I’ve been wanting one of those ‘Cricut’ types of gadget.
