Yep... Mint is running away with the Linux concept as the best so all these articles avoid it and try to promote the others lagging behind. :)
Well, I don’t know much about the Linux options in general, but we don’t do anything complex. For this average home-user, Mint is fine.
Except for compatibility with some items that work off of MS software, like sewing and other craft machines, I haven’t needed anything that Mint can’t handle. (And I think some of those are being offered that work with Linux, too, now.)
