Between adults it’s not an issue, I would have no issue with someone pairing up with 30+ gap in age. But with an older man and a child/teen girl it’s a big issue because the older person is basically taking advantage of the younger person’s innocence and naivete.

While what happened is a tragedy, at the same time it is hard to feel that much sympathy if she was really attracted to that "type" of fella. We all know what happens to you when you touch the hot stove, you end up burning your hand. This is what happened here. Unfortunately.
