I thought of Ted Kennedy but...was he even arrested? Certainly he was driving drunk (and swimming drunk), and somebody died thereby, but...
There is another Kennedy story out there, even more hazy to my history-addled mind. A Kennedy spawn on his way to “work” in DC.
Pelosi is no Kennedy. This will be forgotten.
That was Teddy’s boy, Patches. Crashed into a Capitol Hill barricade at 2:45am while as he put it “late to a vote”. Drunk as a skunk and no field sobriety test was given. Just driven home by his “servants”, i.e., the Capitol Hill police. Checked into rehab the next day. At least no young interns were left to die slowly in the wreck.
