Someday, when I come through Arizona, will you take me to the seaside beaches?
Failing that, lets go to the glaciers and watch the penguines.
I lived in Ohio for a couple of years and everybody used to go to the beaches…on Lake Erie. Huge sandy beaches with dunes.
Arizona has little river beaches, and big beaches at manmade lakes, such as the huge reservoir, Lake Havasu.
“will you take me to the seaside beaches?”
Cant take you to the seaside beaches, but I can direct you to numerous riverside beaches along the Colorado River from Hoover Dam south.
Miles of them. Lake Mohave, then south from the Davis dam through Laughlin NV/Bullhead City AZ through Fort Mohave to I 40 (Topock area) and then south through Lake Havasu City-London Bridge water front, and south to Yuma AZ.
That isnt counting the water front beaches from the east of Highway 93 to the New Mexico state line.
How is that?

Lake Pleasant, AZ...Btw, we used to do this in CA, park or camp right on the beach, nowadays you'd be arrested, fined and jailed for that in CA.☺

I'd take you to Lake Pleasant AZ, it's massive, nearly as big as Lake Havasu, and it's just north of Phoenix.
You meant that as a joke but we do have great (lakeside ) beaches - Lake Havasu, etc, and Flagstaff only two hours from Phoenix gets more snow than Chicago.
