MSNBC led the pack with 4.2 million total viewers, followed by CNN’s 2.6 million viewers. Fox News, which didn’t cover the hearing itself, averaged nearly 3 million viewers during the two-hour block.

Nice trick there, notice MSNBC & CNN numbers are total viewers, while Fox's numbers are "average number of viewers"

Total counts people who tuned it for 10 minutes and shut off while average would filter them out.

Nice catch between “total” and “average” viewers, especially over 2 hours.

If next to no one went from not believing the Jan 6 hoax to believing it after last night, I’d be surprised.

If many viewers who came in curious ended up switching the channel, thinking, “This is bullshit,” I’d be very unsurprised.

That said, most viewers merely confirmed their prior biases.
