I actually had a revolver shotgun (before my tragic boating accident)
Rossi Circuit Judge
available in stainless too!
4) Beretta 92. Doesn’t get any sexier
I really like my Ruger LCR 9mm for pocket carry. It gives something for quick trips out, and it loads pretty quick with moon clips.
I also think a good revolver with at least 4 in. Barrel is just a blast to shoot.A .357 snubby - not so much.
Thing is you can shoot .38 specials out of a 357 snub nose revolver all day long no problem and fun to shoot. And if you are ever in a desperate situation where the only ammo available is 357 then you are still good to go. That’s why my snubby is 357 but I pretty much shoot 38+p out of it.
That’s the impression I got after watching the video.
Besides, 38 specials were the LEO’s go-to sidearm for most of the 20th century. Until hi-magazine weapons and Kevlar came along they were fine.
😎
I’m not endangering my life by carrying around one of those museum pieces. Five or six rounds and you’re out of the fight. And you’re not going to reload before the fight is over. I’ll take my Glock 23 any day of the week. That gives me 14 rounds to neutralize any threats before I have to reload. And swapping out magazines is much easier and faster than reloading a wheel gun.
Nothing wrong with revolvers.
6. Because many say that it is the best Album the Beatles ever released.
Blackhawk 1961 in .357 ... was lost in that tragic kayak accident.
Starting a ping list?
Speed loaders can easily be as fast as a magazine change. Decades of cops prove that.
Don’t leave guns around where morons and children can access them without you knowing.
And as for sexier? I cannot understand how a person can see an automatic as sexier. I really cannot. You need to look at better gun porn.
Check the source of that picture...
“Revolver: bang bang bang bang bang bang click click
Semi auto with hicap mag: bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang’
Meanwhile in the actual world of defensive use..... Bang. And rarely, “bang bang”.
My daughter took her revolver to CCW class. She was the only one. She said everyone else up and down that line was clearing malfunctions, self and equipment induced. They were having all kinds of problems with their tacticool kit. She learned a big lesson that hers never malfunctioned even once.... even the instructor noticed and gave her a cognoscenti nod.
She knows what she wants at 3am when a noise happens.
