Unfortunately our politicians and top CEOs have pushed for trade to China and Mexico for years

Sadly, a lot of Freepers were on board, saying it would help the consumer with lower prices.

How is that working out?

the only kitchen appliances made in the US is Viking?

False.

Frigidaire makes the majority of its products in the U.S.

GE makes appliances in the U.S.

Whirlpool is owned by a US company and makes their appliances in the US.

Did You Know that there is no electric coffee maker made in the US

Also false.

Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost half the price that you will pay on the outside and they are made in the U.S.A.

Great, and by all means buy those wiper blades - just know, not all Goodyear products (like tires) are made in the USA. I highlight this to caveat my points above - yes those companies manufacture many (if not most) products in the US, but some also manufacture products overseas.

I'm all about buying American, but I'm not about articles lying to push their agenda, whether I agree with the agenda or not.

I put cleaning strength vinegar in the rinse. Don’t need fabric softener!

What I’d love to see is a better selection of ham radio equipment made in the USA.

try this... https://madeinamericastore.com/

The original store opened in the Buffalo area before we moved back to Texas. We visit them every time we go back.

We bought USA made Lincoln logs for Christmas for our grands.

Rubbermaid is US MADE. Good products too. Some off brands are too.

Rada knives are, my granny’s paring knife I’d used 50 years, handle finally broke, I replaced it with a Rada, for $8.00. It will last the rest of my life and can be sharpened.

Warning, most Military Base NEX’S are mostly all foreign made and very expensive. I qaulify my online purchases for Made in USA. Some foreign like friendly countries I’ll buy if necessary, there are not many.

My 30+ year old Made in USA microwave died over a year ago. Had to find out that Viking microwaves are NOT made in USA, anymore.

A lot of things have the little flags, but are “made with global components”. It may only be packaged in the US after installing one part.

If it says it’s “Made in USA” and is made of metal, I want it stamped in the metal.

Don’t give up on Taiwan. They still make good tools and you can easily tell them apart from the Red China crap.

China is the world’s enemy. Best to figure it out ASAP.

It’s good to check - but just remember that Made in America and Made by Americans are not synonymous, especially for lower-priced items.

Here’s a hint, don’t assume that the generic brand is always cheaper. Not always so, especially at W-M grocery store.
