What I’d love to see is a better selection of ham radio equipment made in the USA.
I was pleasantly surprised last year to find good and affordable solar panels and a solar inverter made in the U.S. I thought for sure they’d all be made in Cheyna except for the ultra-expensive Tesla solar stuff.
Though not strictly HAM...I still use an SBE Console II radio. Made in California.
Over the years I have modified it to add other bands besides 11 meter and expanded frequencies.
But you're right. It's hard to beat the affordability and relative quality of the foreign units.
