Why was Abbott Labs Shut Down?

The FDA has been seriously inconsistent in its actions regarding baby formula suppliers.

Alexa Beichler, a mother of three boys under five in Leesburg, VA, is among the many “faces” of the national infant formula shortage.

Two of her boys have classic phenylketonuria (PKU), in which they cannot process an amino acid found in protein. This means they require – for life -- the very formula Abbott Labs was making in Sturgis, MI, the plant the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) shut down leading to the current crisis.

According to Beichler, the Biden administration’s "Operation Fly Formula" did not have the right kind of formula for her sons' needs.

Fox reported: “Beichler spoke to Virginia Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-10th District) about the problem but wasn’t given a solution.”

"If she can’t get any answers, and I can’t get any answers, then who has the answers?"

Well, the answers to how this started are within the FDA and its inconsistency in infant formula inspections.

This whole ordeal began last fall when FDA audited Abbott Labs’ Sturgis plant and issued a 483 -- essentially, a list of violations that require “official action.”

Then, an unnamed whistleblower -- believed to be a former employee -- talked to the agency, around the same time four infants became ill with Cronobacter sakazakii, and two died.

So, the agency collected samples from the babies and had it tested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. FDA also collected milk samples from Sturgis. Although the strains in the infants were different, and not found in the milk, according to Abbott, the agency swooped into Sturgis in early January with 12 auditors, quite a large number.

The strain came from the water used at the homes to mix the powdered formulas for the babies to drink. It’s pretty simple science. It wasn’t Abbott’s fault AT ALL.

These bureaucracies are pathetic.

Remember what Reagan said were the scariest words, “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”

It’s absolutely true.

Spain had the same ‘disease’ issue, you don’t hear of them having shortages. People forget formulas go in plastic bottles, which may not be washed well. More Breastfeeding needs to be used. It’s free.

Bottles use to be glass that were boiled with the nipples. Then Playtex came out with plastic, with single use liners. That is a thing of the past.

CDC did a report on GUMMY MELATONIAN, 2 babies died, thousands had stomach’s pumped, some hospitalized, With the 2 babies I suspect foulplay 1 was 3 months, 1, 12 months. 2-5 were the main age. Calcium, Magenisum are heart regulators were not mentioned. Nor MMJ ONES. Which could effect household pets like cats/dogs. NO RECALL.

Abbot was already producing at 41% by Nov 2021 due to Covid restrictions Biden put in place.

Most infant formula has thickners, the fact more babies are on Nexium too, needs to be reassessed is a seaweed, thus natural, boy will it tear up Gastro tracts, From Reflux/GERD, to Cancer. Bromelain can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting, rapid heartbeat, and heavy menstrual periods. It can trigger reactions in people with allergies to pineapples, certain pollens, carrots, celery, rye and wheat flour, latex, bee venom, and other substances.

Like my post on another thread about taking away our guns. Dems are destroying, enslaving, controlling us without even a gun shot fired. Food, gas, medicine, pandemics, supply chain hold ups, etc. Millions of gun owners will never be able to defend this country because our government will not blink to air bomb, use missiles, tanks, round us up in camps, etc. I’m saying this as a gun owner.

DO SOMETHING, For the children. Bureaucrats are all about causing and prolonging problems that don’t exist. And of course, The Bog Guy didn’t get his cut.

Is the FDA giving the same scrutiny to the infant formula being imported from overseas by Biden trying to “fix” the crisis created by his regulatory agencies? It is also questionable why the FDA and other regulators allowed a single plant to be the source of at least 1/3 of all formula sold in the US. Didn’t anyone raise concerns that such concentration of production could lead to a crisis like this if this plant were shutdown for any reason including fire, natural disaster or sabotage?

--- "Although the strains in the infants were different, and not found in the milk, according to Abbott, the agency swooped into...."

Swooped in to appear to give a damn, and to take the heat off the continuing revelations about the failing narrative of the "pandemic," the mortality rate for which is a demonstrable 0.0798 percent mortality rate. Less than one tenth of one percent over two and a half years.

The FDA and its sister CDC are in the business of marketing fear, not accurate information. Dead babies -- when not being approved by the "woman's right to choose" -- are a potent fear to peddle. Except that the FDA was wholly wrong.

What will the government do? Sweep their mistakes under the rug using a compliant media and wait for people to forget. Again.

I can’t figure out what parents are doing in this situation. I hear warnings all the time about “do NOT use KARO syrup,” so what are people using? They aren’t letting kids dying of thirst.

Scratching my head.

Goat milk or cow milk. Neither myself nor any of my siblings ever had a drop of synthetic formula. Mammals can share milk before the baby formula racket convinced mothers that $1.50 a gallon cow milk was poison for their F trophies people just used cow milk and then a blender to make mushed foods from week 4 to 6 onwards we were chubby little kids grew up 6 foot plus the lot of us nary a drop of $30 a gallon make abbot labs rich milk product. There is also a reason nanny goats are called nanny goats think hard and long about it.
