I remember reading an article at the dawn of the ISS project that they did a survey of potential astronauts by country. The French were concerned that no one would take food seriously, and the Italians were concerned that people would be too dedicated to work.

I have never been an Astronaut, although I have met quite a few.
These photos just look fake to me.
Seriously. let a pizza float in the air, or the bag of whatever.
Earth fashions are stupid on a space station and anyone should know that.
you want to keep everything really simple and as easy as possible, and you want nothing to interfere with getting into your suits if there is some kind of event.
if I was given a 15kg weight allowance to take into space, J. Crew would not be coming along.
