Bimbo went hiking in mountain lion country with no gun, and her dog gave its life to protect the idiot.

It is always so sad to lose a beloved pet. They are like family.

Send a few hunters out to bag some pumas and the others will get the idea.

It is especially effective to hunt mountain lions with dogs. Lions which are let go or escape become quite fearful of dogs.
When lion hunting with dogs was legal and common, lions showed fear of even a single, small dog.

Very formidable looking dog, but it was still pet vs. predator.

So very sad…… I would think that she would have known there were Mountain lions in the area…. I never would have gone walking knowing there were possibilities of an attack…. But that’s just me…

I would not go hiking in many areas in the US without a gun for protection. Poor dog. Was a real beauty.
