They invite that aerospace engineer on the show to give them credibility, but they seem to totally ignore what anyone would think of as the “scientific method” when doing their “investigations”. And, from what I saw in some of the latest episodes, they have absolutely no idea of how to run even an simple spectrum analyzer.
It’s always, “let’s shoot a rocket up in that area and see what happens, hyuk, hyuk...” Reminds me a lot of, “watch me Rocky while I try to pull a rabbit out of this hat.”

yeah it’s really bad- i stopped watching it when they started gettign all mystical about everything- the show was kind of interesting till then- but given the ‘legend’ of the place- i guess it was inevitable that they would go in that direction in order to make/get more money/viewers
